Bio-Oil, a South African skin care remedy, will enter the U.S. market next month. A 60ml. bottle will retail for $11.99 at mass retailers. The product is a non-greasy protective formula that contains natural plant extracts and vitamins in an oil base, according to Mark Corbett, regional business manager of Union Swiss. Bio-Oil is the number one selling skin care product in 10 of the 14 countries it’s available in. Walgreens is the only confirmed U.S. retailer that Bio-Oil will be available in, but the company plans to soon have distribution in more than 20,000 doors.
