VVF Ltd., an Indian manufacturer of soaps, oleochemicals, personal and homecare products, has acquired the manufacturing plant site and assets of the former Teo Corp., which provides VVF with manufacturing capability for a range of underarm deodorant and antiperspirant sticks as well as pain relief sticks.
The former Teo Corp. site in Milton, Ontario will be operated by VVF as a wholly-owned subsidiary. VVF will use the plant to expand its product line offering in North America and to further build its position in the growing private label market for personal care products. In addition, the plant is expected to support the continued geographic expansion of its contract manufacturing business.
The new plant will be part of VVF’s North American operations, which are headed up by Kurussh Amrolia. The plant will be managed by Kenneth Capponi. More info: www.vvfltd.com.
