Ciba Holds Seminar On Globally Harmonized System

GERMANY: Ciba has launched a seminar series to begin in Cologne, Germany on March 15, 2007 to address the global agreement related to the transport of dangerous goods. The Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals seminar will serve as an informative session on implementation of hazard classification in a global market. There are currently no collective means for classification, labeling and safe handling for chemicals to be distributed to other countries. Worldwide implementation of GHS is expected next year.
