International Firms Flock To Cosmoprof Shanghai

CHINA:: More than 50% of the 341 exhibitors at Cosmoprof Shanghai were from outside China. The event was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Jan. 31-Feb. 3. The event attracted 13,628 visitors—82% of them from China. The event featured live shows and performances, featuring hairstylists, makeup artists and beauty professionals. Exhibitors from more than 20 countries showcased their beauty products and services at Cosmoprof Shanghai, which also featured nine national and group pavilions. Cosmoprof Shanghai also included a wide range of seminars on topics such as the Chinese spa market and importing cosmetics into China. Organizers note that later this year, Cosmoprof Asia will be held Nov. 14-17. More info: www.cosmoprof.it.
