Nivea

April 11, 2007

Taking cues from its European business, Nivea is expanding in the U.S. market with six products designed to firm, tan and renew skin. This month, Nivea introduces Nivea body Good-Bye Cellulite Gel-Cream and Patches, Sun-Kissed Firming Moisturizer and Nivea Visage Sun-Kissed Facial Moisturizer and Q10 Gentle Spa Micro-Dermabrasion Kit to mass retailers. Next month Nivea will introduce Nivea For Men Energizing Hydro Gel.

Nivea body’s Good-Bye Cellulite Gel-Cream is specially formulated with L-Carnitine to help visibly reduce the appearance of cellulite. To help target the more stubborn areas that typically do not respond well to anti-cellulite measures, Good-bye Cellulite Patches continuously release L-Carnitine onto the skin. Good-Bye Cellulite Gel-Cream and Patches retail for $12.99.

New Nivea body Sun-Kissed Firming Moisturizer, available in two shades, Fair to Medium and Medium to Dark, has a triple action formula to improve skin’s firmness, build an even tan within five days and provide long-lasting moisture. Nivea Visage Sun-Kissed Facial Moisturizer features a fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula with gradual tanner to build a soft, even-looking tan within five days. Sun-Kissed Firming Moisturizer and Sun-Kissed Facial Moisturizer retail for $6.99.

New Nivea Visage Q10 Gentle Spa Micro-Dermabrasion Kit is the first microdermabrasion kit that gently rejuvenates skin’s youthful appearance through a three-step process, according to the company. Pre-Treatment Cleanser with Q10 Energy Complex delicately purifies and prepares skin for microdermabrasion. Micro-Dermabrasion Gel with Pro-vitamin B5 and exfoliating pearls gently removes dead skin cells and impurities from skin. Post Treatment Balm, with skin’s own Coenzyme Q10 and SPF 15, improves skin’s ability to fight new and existing wrinkles while boosting skin’s moisture level. Q10 Gentle Spa Micro-Dermabrasion Kit retails for $19.99.
