Symrise Acquires Steng Ltd.

GREAT BRITAIN: Steng, British supplier of herb and spice pastes, stocks, marinades and natural flavors has been acquired by Symrise.

Steng manufactures flavors that are supplied to the fast-growing chilled food categories, as well as a range of traditional culinary sectors. Steng produces a range of products that are created in their test kitchens and development labs on site. “By acquiring Steng, we are consistently pursuing our strategy of offering consumers not only a flavor but also an added value by making the authentic taste healthier,” said Heinz-Juergen Bertram, global president flavor & nutrition, Symrise.
