Ecru New York Expands To Asia

CHINA: Prestige hair care collection Ecru New York is expanding its presence to the Asian salon market with a new distribution partner in Taipei, Taiwan. The Salon Exchanges International Company, Ltd., a six-year-old company, will distribute Ecru New York products.

“ECRU New York’s partnership with Salon Exchanges International brings the brand one step closer to recognizing its goal of becoming a truly global brand. In 2007 Ecru New York plans to take on distribution partners in South Africa, Italy, Spain and Costa Rica,” said Carmen DePasquale, founder of Ecru New York.

Olivia Hung, business development manager at Salon Exchanges International, will oversee distribution of Ecru New York products for the company. Salon Exchanges International houses an educational facility for professional hair stylists called 4 Zoom Hair Academy.
