Innovation Deli Ltd., was the winner of the Rexam 3rd Annual Formulation Challenge, a worldwide competition designed to unleash the creativity of product developers.
This year, the challenge addressed the potential of Rexam’s newest platform in mechanical foamers—the squeeze-operated EZi Foamer—in the fast-growing body wash category.
Open to manufacturers, contract packagers, distributors and formulators, the product entry can target women, men, adults or children’s products, as long as it is developed for this latest, instant-foam dispensing technology.
Formulations were evaluated by an international panel of industry experts, including Pieter Jan Wiersema, Sara Lee; Irwin Palefsky, Cosmetech and Jon Packer, Centerchem, Inc.
“Innovation Deli’s winning entry may serve to encourage product developers to address the rapidly expanding body wash market,” said Norbert de Jong, marketing director, Rexam Plastic Packaging’s Personal Care Division.
“Our EZi foamer is our latest, brand-building mechanical foamer and is an appealing choice for makers of high-output bath and shower products, such as body washes, shampoos and soaps,” he added.
