November 2, 2007

McIntyre Group announced an expansion of the Northwest distribution territory for Tarr, LLC (Portland, OR) to include Idaho, in addition to existing coverage in Oregon and Washington for the McIntyre line of surfactants, preservatives, amine oxides and specialty blends.

Headquartered in Portland, Tarr warehouses in both Portland and Seattle with bulk liquid storage capability and delivers via a committed fleet of trucks. In addition, Tarr is member of the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) and OmniChem. In the near future, Tarr will be servicing Idaho-based customers from a local warehouse facility.

“Over the last four years, Tarr has provided outstanding service to Customers in the Northwest purchasing McIntyre materials. I look forward to continued growth with Tarr servicing Industrial, Institutional and Personal Care Customers in Idaho”, said George Sedlmayr, sales manager-Western Territories for McIntyre.
