Tom’s of Maine co-founders Tom and Kate Chappell spent the first week of October kicking off the company’s five-year, $1 million Rivers Awareness Partnership at 12 public, retail and community events in San Francisco, CA and Portland, OR.
The natural personal care products company is pledging $1 million over a span of five years to help the American Rivers and River Network, the two leading grassroots river groups in the U.S., representing well over 100,000 members across the country.
This five-year commitment (2007-2012) for Tom’s of Maine follows the first phase of the company’s rivers program.
