Alberto-Culver Company, a manufacturer and marketer of personal care products including TreSemme, Alberto VO5, Nexxus and St. Ives, announced strong sales and earnings results from continuing operations for its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2007.
Net sales for the fourth quarter increased 14.5% to $421.5 million. Net sales for the Alberto-Culver Company’s fiscal year grew 10.2% to $1.54 billion. These are the first full year results since the company split its consumer products business and its Sally/BSG distribution business into two separate public companies in November 2006.
