IFF:
International Flavors & Fragrances promoted five perfumers Domitille Bertier, Sophie Chapuis, Tony Mills, Beatrice Piquet and Olivier Polge to the position of senior perfumer in IFF’s creative center in Neuilly, France. Ms. Bertier joined IFF as a trainee in 1994, after obtaining her degree in chemistry and training at the Perfumery School in Versailles ISIPCA. Her portfolio includes Versace Men, Boss in Motion for Hugo Boss and Touch of Pink for Lacoste.
Ms. Chapuis has played an integral role in notable fragrance successes in both fine fragrance and beauty care. She began her career with IFF in 1992 as a perfumer assistant and became trainee perfumer in 1994, after receiving her degree from the French Perfumery School ISIPCA and a diploma in biochemistry from the University of Paris.
Based in IFF’s Neuilly facility in France, Mr. Mills’ career in perfumery spans five decades. He has proven expertise in creating fragrances in a variety of bases which are used for many types of personal care products. Some of his creations include fragrances for Colgate-Palmolive, Nivea for Beiersdorf, L’Oréal, as well as Johnson & Johnson, Yves Rocher and Vendome, among others.
Ms. Piquet began her career at IFF at the age of 17. She worked under the supervision of Max Gavarry for seven years and training for six years with JP Mary and Alain Astori, with whom she worked while completing her apprenticeship. Her portfolio includes fragrances such as: Bulgari Petits et Mamans; Aroma Tonic for Lancome, with Alain Astori and Armani Emporio Night Him, with Yves Cassar.
A native of Grasse, Mr. Polge joined IFF in 1998 as a trainee in New York where he worked on major U.S. brands such as Clinique, Liz Claiborne and Calvin Klein, among others.
