Silab Establishes Foundation

he new Silab-Jean Paufique Corporate Foundation is the brainchild of Mr. Paufique, the founding chairman of Silab, to involve his company in corporate social responsibility. Directed by Thierry Cruchon, general director of the company, the corporate foundation’s board members include representatives of the Silab staff, scientific experts from outside the company and dermatology research professors Philippe Humbert and Christophe Bedane.

According to the company, the purpose of the foundation is to foster young talent and support fundamental research and applied research in the fields of diagnostics, prognosis and the treatment of dermatologic pathologies. For 2008, the new foundation will offer awards and financial support to research.
