EC Research (ECR) announced sales of its innovative stretch mark recovery complex, TriLASTIN-SR, have surpassed goals for 2007, reflecting increased demand from recent media coverage in the US and abroad. The privately held company noted a surge of nearly 60 percent over 2006 sales as women worldwide seek out the product, creating a "beauty cult" brand.
"The success of TriLASTIN-SR is fueled by personal testimonials and recommendations," said Greg Cellini, President, ECR. "We are motivated by success stories from women worldwide who tell us the product restored their self-esteem and helped them regain confidence in their appearance."
TriLASTIN-SR was introduced in 2005 as an online brand (www.ecresearchcorp.com) and soon posted sales throughout 130 countries. Today, the stretch mark cream can also be found at the leading luxury stores A Pea in the Pod, Destination Maternity and online at www.apeainthepod.com.
"Along with our luxurious fashions and exclusive designer brands, A Pea in the Pod offers our sophisticated client beautiful skin care products to help make her look and feel her best," said Rebecca Matthias, president and chief creative officer of A Pea in the Pod. "TriLASTIN-SR is consistently one of the best-selling body creams and many expectant women have come to depend on it."
TriLASTIN-SR was created by cosmetic biochemists and features a custom blend of restorative plant extracts, proteins and anti-oxidants to target the source of the stretch mark scar. Promising results in as little as four weeks, the formula uses a two-phased delivery system to normalize stretch marks: de- hydrated microspheres attract moisture and rehydrate in the epidermis, while a virtual 'skin patch' of marine collagen protects the skin and delivers nourishing compounds.
"We hope to have broader distribution for TriLASTIN-SR in 2008," said Mr. Cellini. "Our long-term goal is to grow the TriLASTIN brand by developing effective science-based products to address a range of dermal imperfections, including cellulite."
