Cosmoprof North America Continues OTC Program

Following the inaugural year of the OTC Program in 2007, Cosmoprof North America has announced it will continue this groundbreaking initiative in 2008. Cosmoprof North America will be held at the Mandalay Bay hotel, Las Vegas, July 13-15. It will include three pavilions: Cosmetics & Personal Care; Packaging, Contract Manufacturing & Private Label and Wellness & Spa.

As a result of feedback from Professional Beauty Association (PBA) members, especially manufacturer representative members, and the community at large including Cosmoprof North America visitors, a special emphasis has been placed on the OTC professionals and key decision makers.

Due to major shifts in the distribution channel, the OTC market represents growth opportunities for many new companies ready to do business in the U.S. marketplace. However, since many OTCs are small operations with minimal budgets, the OTC Program was implemented to answer the needs voiced by these OTCs regarding the cost of participation that often makes it prohibitive for small establishment owners to attend the show.
