CCL Tube, a division of CCL Industries, recently invested over $7 million in the latest silkscreen tube printing technology thereby enhancing the company’s existing decorating capabilities and production capacity. The new silk-screen machinery enables CCL Tube’s customers to execute—with almost exact precision—a wide variety of complex tube decorating concepts.
Through new machinery purchases, CCL Tube has outfitted its Los Angeles and Wilkes-Barre plants with the latest silk-screen printing technology.
According to Georg Pescher, CCL Tube Wilkes-Barre, general manager, “Our continued investments in new machinery and plant modernization enables CCL Tube’s customers to implement high-end and graphically exciting packaging.”
Hawaiian Tropic’s Sun Potion tube, manufactured at CCL Tube’s Wilkes-Barre plant, demonstrates the company’s myriad silkscreen printing capabilities. CCL Tube’s computer generated screen development and precise ink matching enabled the company to achieve high opacity and vibrant colors in combination with best-in-class color blending.
