Botaneco Works With Burts Bees

Botaneco, a business unit of SemBioSys Genetics Inc. based in Calgary, Canada, announced that Burt’s Bees is using Botaneco’s hydresia ingredient in two new body washes and a hand soap.

“Burt’s Bees is a leader in the field of natural personal care products, and their launch of three new products containing the hydresia base emulsion validates confidence in the benefits that Botaneco products bring to the personal care industry,” said Andrew Baum, president and chief executive officer of Botaneco’s parent company, SemBioSys.

“Several major personal care companies are evaluating the performance benefits of the hydresia ingredient.”
