2008 Skating With the Stars Under the Stars gala raised a record amount of money

June 23, 2008

For four years, SoftSheen-Carson and Figure Skating in Harlem have made a perfect pair, and 2008 was no exception as the 2008 Skating With the Stars Under the Stars gala raised a record amount of money. Held at Wollman Rink in New York City’s Central Park, this year’s gala honored skating legend Dorothy Hammill and raised more than $275,000 for Figure Skating in Harlem’s youth development program. SoftSheen-Carson donated $25,000 and nearly $10,000 in products. At the event, guests could skate side by side with Ms. Hammill and other Olympic and World medalists including Sasha Cohen and Viktor Petrenko. More info:www.softsheen-carson.com
