Whether you fit in better in the star-studded Hamptons, secluded Fire Island, vibrant Coney Island or just hanging out on the island of Manhattan, there’s a scent for you in Bond No. 9’s New York Beaches collection. The Hamptons scent has topnotes of lime blossom, bigarrade oil, lemon-limey bergamot, armoise oil, cedar and sage. The midnotes are lush florals and the drydown features amber, sandalwood, and cashmere musk. For Hamptons, Bond No. 9’s distinctive bottle is a deep but transparent ocean blue topped with a nautical white cap. For Fire Island, Bond No. 9 selected a distinctive spicy-sweet aroma reminiscent of vintage Euro-bronzing oils, with notes of cardamom, neroli, white musk and patchouli. The flacon features sunburst golden-yellow with a contrasting deep ocean-blue at the center of the brand’s signature token. Looking to capture fun in a bottle, Coney Island has sugar-cool notes of margarita mix, chocolate, caramel and cedarwood. The high-voltage blue bottle recalls Coney Island’s expanse of sea and sky, while the contrasting gold neck evokes the thousands of electric lights that once lit up the resort town’s night sky. The final scent, Eau de New York, captures the “kinetic essence of the city as a whole” with top notes of grapefruit, mandarin, bergamot and petit grain, spiked with fresh greens. The heart features neroli, cyclamen, white lily and basil, with vetiver and oakmoss balancing it out. Prices range from $125 to $198. More info: www.bondno9.com
