Elizabeth Arden Sales Fall In Third Quarter 2008

Global prestige beauty products company Elizabeth Arden, Inc. posted its financial results for the third fiscal quarter and nine months ended March 31, 2008.

For the third quarter, net sales decreased 4% to $210.6 million. According to the company, the net sales results reflect weakness in the North American and U.K. retail environment.

For the nine months, net sales rose 2.3% to $904.8 million from 2007. Net income, excluding restructuring charges, was $31.9 million.
