As part of a special campaign that recognizes the United Nations’ International Year of Sanitation, the World Water Monitoring Day program is distributing 12,000 water monitoring kits, including bars of biodegradable environmentally friendly soap donated by Procter & Gamble. The kits, which also include a hand washing fact sheet, will be given to people in more than 50 countries worldwide as part of its Wash Your Hands, Save a Life campaign.
