ISP Appoints Hani Fares As Its Senior Director



Fares of ISP

International Specialty Products (ISP):

is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Hani Fares as senior director, personal care. Dr. Fares comes to ISP after a successful seven-year tenure at L’Oréal Recherche, where he held several positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his promotion to assistant vice president, R&D, skin care. Prior to that, he worked on dermatological and oral health care research for 10 years at GlaxoSmithKline.

All-Pak, Inc.:

announced the appointment of Joe DePrinzio to the position of national accounts manager. He joins All-Pak with five years of experience in sales and customer service, with his most recent position as area account manager for AmeriGas Propane.

Cognis:

has appointed Eduardo Caballero as I&I technology manager for the
DePrinzio of All-Pak

NAFTA region. He will provide technical support to the newly-created I&I team and promote the use of Cognis’ green technologies to this growing market. Mr. Caballero has extensive experience in institutional, industrial, home care and personal care formulations and raw materials, most recently with Croda as a research manager.

David Weiss joined Cognis as senior manager technology with 30 years of laboratory and managerial experience in personal care product R&D. Mr. Weiss has held positions as product development manager and assistant director R&D for the branded consumer products of the international divisions of Sterling Drug, Inc. and American Home Products, Inc.

Ying O’Connor has been recently appointed to the position of technical project manager for the hair, body and oral group of Cognis Care Chemicals. She holds a masters of science degree in organic chemistry from The University of Albany.

Lamberty of June Jacobs

June Jacobs Labs:

hired Julio Lamberty as vice president of research & development/technical services. Prior to joining June Jacobs Labs, he spent 10 years as director of emerging brands/new technologies for Limited Brands. He has over 20 years of combined experience in cosmetic formulations and product development. Mr. Lamberty has also held positions at Avon, Symrise and ISP.

Dow Biocides:

has named Dwayne J. Roark business communications manager for the Angus Chemical Company. Prior to joining Dow, Mr. Roark was senior marketing manager for Misumi USA, Inc.

Clariant Masterbatches:

has appointed Peter Prusak as head of the North American packaging market segment, with responsibility for sales, marketing and product development. He will also continue as director of market development, a position he has held since 2007. Before joining the company, Mr. Prusak was

BioScreen Testing Services:

announced the newest member of its business development team, Orly Zargar, as the West Coast business development representative for the personal care department. She holds a marketing degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
