Detergent Builder and Composition

Patent No. US 7,393,821 B2. Nippon Shokubai Co., Ltd., Osaka-shi, Japan, has been awarded a patent covering a detergent composition comprised of usual detergent additives, a surfactant and a detergent builder. The detergent builder is comprised of a copolymer obtained by copolymerization of monomer components containing a polyalkyleneimine unsaturated mono-mer and other monomers, wherein said other monomers comprise an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and wherein said polyalkyleneimine unsaturated monomer has an oxyalkylene group. The blending ratio of said surfactant is 10-60% by mass in the detergent composition being 100% by mass.
