Estée Lauder’s Jo Malone Brand Expands in Asia

ASIA: The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. has signed an agreement giving Lane Crawford Joyce Group exclusive distribution rights to Lauder’s Jo Malone luxury lifestyle brand in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Taiwan, Macau, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Lane Crawford Joyce Group is an international brand group representing luxury and fashion brands through a network of distribution, retailing and franchising.

“Jo Malone is rapidly establishing itself as a powerful destination for knowledgeable consumers looking for high-end British-Chic and very tasteful products around the world, whether for self-consumption or for gifts with a classic yet modern twist,” said Fabrice Weber, president of Estée Lauder Asia Pacific Ltd. “The Lane Crawford Joyce Group’s unique expertise at operating premium brands’ flagship stores in high-street and high-end malls will most definitely enable Jo Malone to create in this part of the world the undisputable success it has become in the UK.”

“We anticipate Jo Malone to be received very well. The modern aesthetic of the brand and the iconic packaging will appeal to the discerning consumer in this region,” added Maureen Case, president of specialty brands, Estée Lauder Companies.

Founded in 1994 and acquired by Lauder in 1999, Jo Malone is currently available in 14 countries worldwide.
