Gillette Signs All-Star Shortstop Derek Jeter

August 6, 2008

For more than a decade, Derek Jeter has comfortably wielded a glove and bat for the New York Yankees. Now, he’s going to pitch—for Gillette, that is. The New York Yankees captain and All-Star shortstop is the newest Gillette Champions ambassador. Mr. Jeter will be integrated into Gillette brand programs in North America and will be leveraged through multi-faceted marketing initiatives, including print and broadcast advertising, consumer promotions, point of sale materials and online and public relations in support of Gillette’s premium shaving products. He joins the Gillette Champions teammates Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Thierry Henry.
