Sea-Land To Distribute Bioaugmentation Products

September 11, 2008

Sea-Land Chemical Company has been named a distributor of Bio-Systems International’s BioBugs product lines for bioaugmentation, strengthening Sea-Land’s portfolio of natural and biodegradable products for the U.S. household, industrial and institutional (HII) marketplace.

Bioaugmentation is a process that uses bacteria and other microbial agents to speed the natural process of decomposition. Common household uses include products that remove pet stains or deodorize toilets and septic systems. Some of the many industrial and institutional uses include grease control, sludge reduction, chemical waste, hydrocarbon waste and groundwater remediation.
