Personal Care Product Council Hosts Science Week



Seeking one-stop shopping for information about microbiology, quality assurance, INCI, safety, environmental issues or colors? Then check out the Personal Care Products Council’s Science Week 2008, to be held Oct. 20-24 at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Newark NJ.
   
With a convenient location and discounts for multiple registrations, Science Week 2008 is a great opportunity to learn from the experts and meet colleagues and friends in the industry, according to The Council.  The annual event attracts more than 300 cosmetic scientists, toxicologists, microbiologists, color specialists, regulatory experts, environmental scientists, quality managers, government personnel and others.

New Horizons Conference Returns


The New Horizons Conference 2008, sponsored by the Cleaning Products Division of the Consumer Specialty Products Association (CSPA), is set for Oct. 19-22 in Englewood, CO.  This two-and-a-half day conference, presented every three years, is an opportunity for industry professionals to gather in an academic environment to learn about the latest technologies and discuss the challenges of emerging issues.
   
The keynote speaker is Stanley F. Slater, Ph.D., Charles and Gwen Lillis Professor of Business Administration at Colorado State University’s College of Business.
