In recognition of its economic, environmental and social performance, MeadWestvaco Corporation (MWV) has been selected as a member of the 2008/2009 Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World). The global packaging company is included on the index for the fifth consecutive year based on its success integrating environmental sustainability and social values into core business objectives and economic performance, according to the company.
