Procter & Gamble: Marc S. Pritchard and Bruce Brown

Procter & Gamble:
has named Marc S. Pritchard global marketing officer, reporting to Robert A. McDonald, chief operating officer. He will replace James R. Stengel, global marketing officer, who will retire on Oct. 31, 2008 after 25 years of service.

Bruce Brown was also selected as chief technology officer, replacing G. Gilbert Cloyd, who retired from Procter & Gamble Company after more than 33 years of service. Mr. Brown previously served as vice president, research and development, global hair care and global hair colorants.
