Sabinsa Completes REACH Pre-Registration

November 17, 2008

Sabinsa Corporation has completed pre-registration for REACH, insuring that its ingredients will have market presence and availability in all 27 EU countries plus Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein. REACH regulations allow only pre-registered substances to be sold after November’s submission deadline. Non-pre-registered substances will be treated as new chemicals and will not be allowed on the market without full registration.

“In an age where there is increased need for manufacturer transparency, product safety and consumer awareness, Sabinsa continues to exceed regulatory requirements and remains committed to ensuring our chemical offerings are safe and effective in improving human heath,” said Shaheen Majeed, marketing director, Sabinsa Corp.
