Compositions with Soil Suspending Polymers

P&G has been awarded a patent for a composition that is comprised of a catechol having one or more sulfonate groups and a water-soluble, soil-suspending polymer selected from saccharide derivatives comprising at least three hydroxy moieties, at least one of the hydroxyl moieties comprising an alkoxy moiety selected from the group consisting of ethoxy, propoxy and butoxy and mixtures thereof, and wherein at least one of the alkoxy moieties has an anionic capping unit, and mixtures thereof.
