Claudia Rigert-Sent Named Sales Director at Rovi



Habkemeyer of CLR
Rovi: Claudia Rigert-Sent has been appointed sales director at Rovi Cosmetics International. Prior to joining Rovi, Ms. Rigert-Sent served as personal care sales manager at Kolb AG. Earlier in her career, she was European distributor manager at National Starch personal care and account manager UK at Mibelle AG Cosmetics.

CLR: Ivonne Habkemeyer joined CLR Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. Kurt Richter, Berlin as international technical sales manager, responsible for CLR’s sales activities in South America, Turkey, Greece and Thailand as well as South Germany. Prior to joining the company, she was with Rahn.

J&E Sozio: Appointed Kenneth J. Christy as leader of the antimicrobial business platform. In his new role, Mr. Christy will lead Elevance’s efforts to develop and grow its position in the global antimicrobial market using novel actives from renewable, raw materials.

Edison of Gelest
Gelest: Gelest Inc. recently announced the appointment of Matt Edison as business manager for silicones, performance products and Gelest’s cosmetic raw materials subsidiary Gelest PCS. In his new position, Mr. Edison’s responsibilities will include business development and product management for the silicones, performance products and Gelest PCS product lines.

Draco Natural Products: Ray Pung has joined the company as an account executive and will be based in the San Jose office. Most recently he was with Harte Hanks in San Jose as a marketing and sales representative.  In his new position, Mr. Pung  will be active in the account management and development department. He will establish new business, growing and supporting existing relationships and serve as information liaison to various marketplaces for Draco’s unique Full Spectrum Standardized Herbal Extracts developed and manufactured

Drom: Kevin J. Verspoor has joined the company from Fragrance Resources. He has created winning fragrances for Jennifer Lopez, Bath and Body Works, Victoria’s Secret, Slatkin and Company, Riviera Concepts and Sephora, and will be located in Drom’s Tribeca-based Fine Fragrance Studio. Theresa Pace joined the personal care evaluation team. She previously worked at Belmay and at Takasago.

Univar: Announced two appointments. John van Osch was named group senior vice president-Europe, effective Jan. 1. He reports to Gary Pruitt, Univar president
Verspoor of Drom
and CEO. Also, Detlef Prangenberg was appointed human resource director-Europe, effective March 1, 2009.

Symrise: Hired Nathalie Feisthauer as a new senior perfumer at the fragrance and flavorings manufacturer’s Paris Creative Center. Ms. Feisthauer learned her trade at the Givaudan Roure School and worked for Givaudan for the past 20 years. She began her career in 1990 in New York, where she collaborated with well-known perfumers Karyn Khoury, Ann Gottlieb and Clare Cain. Their work resulted in the fragrances of Elysium for Clarins, Aramis Havana and Nuits Indiennes for Jean-Louis Scherrer.

Feisthauer of Symrise
Soliance: Appointed Frederique Lafosse as general manager. Mrs Lafosse, graduated with a PhD in biotechnology, previously held key technical and commercial positions with major fragrance companies, such as Givaudan, IFF and Quest.
