Join Chemsil Silicones at Booth No. 1543 during Supplier's Day and be introduced to several new raw materials for both hair care and skin care with innovative prototypes that highlight the properties and endless possibilities of product formulations.
Two new raw materials, Cosmetic Fluid 8108-OH and Volasil 8100 are formulated raw materials for the chemists seeking functional alternatives to cyclic silicone raw material in skin care applications.
Volasil 8100 is recommended as a replacement for cyclopentasiloxane. This low linear dimethyl compound has similar physical properties, low toxicity, excellent spreadibility and volatility making it an excellent alternative to formulators seeking a non-cyclic formulation for new products.
Cosmetic Fluid 8108-OH is a low viscosity linear elastomer compound highlighted in Chemsil's Anti-Aging Retinol serum. This formulated serum provides the base delivery system for the anti-aging retinol in a silky, soft feeling treatment serum. Cosmetic Fluid 8108-OH can also be used in other applications to deliver unlimited active ingredients in a cosmetically elegant manner.
Chemsil's newest raw material Gelaid WSL is a self-emulsified silicone raw material designed to formulate multiphasic refractive index products that can incorporate functional raw materials that differentiate the product properties. Gelaid WSL incorporates silicone cross polymers to provide a silky after feel and is designed for cold mix formulations. Chemsil's Shine & Style prototype incorporates a hair fixative in a clear silicone and water gel that provides both shine and soft hold in a unique combination.
Gelaid CPDP is a silicone compound designed to formulate cold process clear water and silicone gels. Chemsil will highlight this raw material in its Straightening Hair Gel. The use of this product with flat irons will protect the hair from damage and leave a soft shiny finish to the hair. Finally, Smooth & Shiny Hair Serum with Cosmetic Fluid 1585-OH demonstrates Chemsil’s capability to produce a complete silicone based formulation for you. Chemsil's CAP program saves you money and time.
