Procter & Gamble’s support for the relief and rebuilding efforts in Haiti has surpassed the $2 million mark, with P&G product donations accounting for $1.2 million.
Products donated by the Cincinnati, OH-based firm include bar soaps, bleach, diapers, dish detergent, feminine hygiene products, laundry detergents, shampoos, tooth brushes, toothpaste, wipes and other items.
P&G's efforts are ongoing, as the company said it will donate all profits from Tide vintage t-shirt sales at www.tideloadsofhope.com during the month of February to disaster relief in Haiti and will match donations up to $250,000.
Also, Tide Loads of Hope will be partnering with the Ft. Lauderdale Calvary Chapel and Samaritan's Purse to provide clean hospital bed linens to Haiti. And although the current focus is on addressing urgent needs, Tide's Loads of Hope program also plans to take its mobile laundry service to Haiti.
