Juice Beauty has been awarded a U.S. patent for juice-based skin peels and masks that include a blend of organic juices and other organic ingredients. The blend of organic juices and other organic ingredients comprises at least 70% by weight of the follow composition: Pyrus malus (apple) juice, Citrus medica limonum (lemon) juice, Vitis vinfera (white grape) juice, Saccharum officinarum, milk peptides, Aloe barbadensis leaf juice, glycerin, hydroy-propyl starch phosphate, sodium hydroxide, algae extract, sclerotium gum, tocopherol acetate and tocopherol (vitamin E), ascorbyl palmitate (vitamin C), retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), phospholipids, magnesium aspartate, zinc gluconate, copper gluconate, phenoxyethanol, benzyl alcohol, potassium sorbate, tetrasodium EDTA and xanthan gum.

Reckitt Patents Cleaning System


U.S. Patent No. 7,638,470 B2; Reckitt Benckiser (UK) has been granted a U.S. patent for a cleaning product that is comprised of a liquid and a separate solid state catalyst. The liquid cleaning composition contains a bleaching agent and one or more organic or inorganic acids, while the solid state catalyst is selected from a group consisting of a copper salt, a cobalt salt, a transition metal and a transition metal compound. The patent also covers a container for the cleaning system.

Clorox Patents Aqueous Cleaning Composition

Clorox has patented an aqueous cleaning composition. It is comprised of a polyaluminum compound, a surfactant selected from the group consisting of nonionic, anionic, cationic, amphoteric, zwitterionic and mixtures thereof; and a solvent selected from the group consisting of ethanol, isopropanol, sorbitol, glycerol, propylene glycol, 1,3-propanediol, methanol, propanol, butanol, soy-derived fatty acid methyl ester, d-limonene, canola-derived fatty acid methyl ester and mixtures thereof.

U.S. Patent No. 7,658,936 B2; Goldschmidt GmbH has patented cosmetic or dermatological impregnated cloths made from a water-insoluble nonwoven that has been moistened with an impregnation solution. The solution is comprised of an oil-in-water emulsion having a viscosity of less than 2000 mPa·s; one or more partially neutralized glyceride esters and one or more fatty alcohols. •
