Tolin joins the team from the Lubrizol Performance Coatings group where he served as sales director for the Americas and Europe.
The Yankee Candle Company: tapped Gregory W. Hunt as executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer. Most recently, Hunt served as executive vice president of strategic and commercial development for Norwegian Cruise Lines. Prior to that, he served as the chief financial officer and chief restructuring officer of Tweeter Home Entertainment Group, Inc. He also worked at Syratech Corporation, NRT Inc., Culligan Water Technologies, Inc. and Samsonite Corporation.

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc.: tapped Georgia Garinois-Melenikiotou to serve as senior vice president, corporate marketing. She will lead a newly created Corporate Marketing Center of Excellence, and will report to president and chief executive officer, Fabrizio Freda. She will also oversee the corporate marketing team that will support The Estée Lauder Companies’ brands, R&D teams and regional team’s efforts by further developing the company’s global consumer knowledge and marketing capability.
Garinois-Melenikiotou joins the company from Johnson & Johnson where she held various global leadership positions for more than 20 years. Most recently, she was president, beauty global business unit strategy and new growth with responsibility for developing and implementing global growth strategies with the beauty GBU at J&J.
Bosley Professional Strength: named Michelle Blaisure as its first director of education. In her new role, she is responsible for the development of the company’s educational programs and the creation of a nationwide team of expert educators. Additionally, she will oversee the company’s salon affiliate program in partnership with Bosley, Inc.
Prior to working at Bosley Professional Strength, Blaisure spent 15 years at Nioxin, where she started as a contract educator, eventually working her way up the ranks to become a corporate trainer.
J&E Sozio: appointed John Duffy as plant manager for its U.S. location. With more than 20 years experience within the fragrance industry, Duffy joins the company from CPL Aromas. Prior to his career at CPL, he had worked for Hagelin and Aromatech.
Kolmar Laboratories, Inc.: named Liam Jablesnik quality systems manager in the quality assurance department of its Port Jervis facility. He has been employed with Kolmar for more than three years and previously held the position of operations manager of Assembly. He brings many years of experience in the quality arena, having worked at companies such as Cintas, Cardinal Health and the medical device manufacturer, Repro-Med.
Aveda: appointed Christopher J. Werle to vice president, global communications, Aveda. He was most recently the executive vice president, consumer practice for Weber Shandwick, where he provided strategic counsel, brand marketing and communications expertise to Coca-Cola, Microsoft, TiVo, Sprint and Best Buy. Prior to Weber Shandwick, he was group marketing manager, games division/ home and retail division at Microsoft Corporation. Werle also served on the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity and Catholic Charities and is a mentor with Bolder Options.
DSM Nutritional Products: appointed current president, Human Nutrition & Health (HNH), Mauricio Adade, chief marketing officer (CMO).
Adade, a Brazilian national, began his career with Roche in 1988 and has held positions in marketing in Sao Paulo, Mexico and Singapore before moving to Switzerland. He had recently been the head of global marketing for DNP and in 2006 became the business group director human nutrition and health.
Rick Greubel, current group vice president and international president Tyson Foods, Inc. will succeed Adade as president HNH. An American national, he is highly experienced in the food industry, through his latest position and has built a longstanding career in general management and marketing positions with his previous employer Monsanto all over the world. His track record in the food industry gives him an excellent starting position to positively impact DSM Nutritional Products, according to the company.
