ISP Corporation: tapped former Unilever and Beiersdorf product development leader Dr. Anand Mahadeshwar as director, global hair care R&D applications and personal care consumer science.
Mahadeshwar has overseen numerous projects in laundry detergent and hair care technology during his tenure at consumer product companies. He has worked with a cross-section of hair care specialists—including prestigious salons, industry thought leaders and ingredient suppliers—to advance new technologies in the category. In addition to 10 patents he has already received, Mahadeshwar has applied for more than a dozen others and written papers for six international publications in the field of surfactants and particle science.
Prior to joining ISP, Mahadeshwar led advanced product development in hair care and styling at Beiersdorf, producing myriad innovations in the category. Before that, he was global project leader for Unilever in the UK, where he helped develop next-generation technology.
Kline & Company: named Eric Vogelsberg as the head of the firm’s global M&A and corporate development practice. The move recognizes Vogelsberg’s work to expand Kline’s M&A portfolio from an acknowledged leader in the development of market and competitive intelligence for buy-side transactions to a full-service, global M&A and corporate development advisory, according to the company.
Prior to joining Kline, Vogelsberg spent 10 years in sales, service and management roles of increasing responsibility in the specialty chemicals industry through his association with Hercules Incorporated and the Harshaw Chemical Company.
In addition, the firm announced that Glyn Johnson will lead the practice’s efforts in Europe, leveraging his years of successful transaction experience and longstanding relationships with financial clients and industry leaders. Johnson was formerly manager of Strategy & Finance Practice of Nexant Ltd.
Symrise: named Anne Cabotin global account director for L’Oréal. For years, Cabotin has successfully worked at Symrise as international key account manager for clients in fine fragrances. In her new function, she will join Symrise’s European scent and care management team. She began her career at IFF in 1988 and joined then Créations Aromatiques in 1998, which later became Symrise.
Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc.: appointed Timothy J. Connors as chief marketing officer (CMO). The marketing company has portfolio of well-known brand names including Comet, Clear Eyes and Chloraseptic.
Charles J. Hinkaty has been appointed to the board of directors at Prestige Brands Holdings, Inc. Hinkaty was most recently president and chief executive officer of Del Laboratories, Inc., where he worked for 23 years.
Arizona Chemical: hired Jason Rothouse as applications specialist for personal care in the specialty products division. In this position, he will be involved in the development and maintenance of applications and starting point formulations to support the division’s sales and new market development.
In addition, Rothouse will offer technical service to customers, oversee applications feedback to direct synthesis chemists and provide applications-related support to sales and marketing.
Prior to joining Arizona Chemical, Rothouse was a senior chemist in the productivity group at Avon Products, working in personal care and skin care platforms.
Fusion Brands Inc.: tapped fragrance veteran Dana Kline to lead its new Fusion Brands Luxury Fragrance Division.
Kline comes to Fusion Brands with more than 20 years of experience in the field. Prior to joining the company, she served as president of Icon Beauty, a sales and distribution company she built in 2008, overseeing sales marketing execution of Beyonce Heat, Nautica, Nautica Oceans, Kate Moss and Beckham. Before that, she served as vice president of sales at Gary Farn Ltd. where she was in charge of distribution for Ferragamo, Annick Goutal, Lolita Lempicka, Etro, Herve Leger and Ungaro fragrances.

Based in Paris, France, Treneva will provide sales outreach and customer support to European beauty and personal care suppliers. She will also facilitate relationships with European beauty and wellness organizations, media and pan-European customers.
Prior to joining HBA Global, Treneva was international advertising manager for Cosmédias. She has also worked for high-profile fashion brands Gucci and Yves St. Laurent.
