Glisodin Talks Up Inner Beauty at The Plaza

Laura Simpson, co-founder of Glisodin Skin Nutrients, visited the Caudalíe Vinothérapie Spa inside the Plaza Hotel in New York City on July 28 to talk about the “inner beauty revolution.”

Noting that the nutrition-beauty connection has been touted in European and Asian spas for years, Simpson said it has come on in a “big way” in the North American market, especially in the spa industry.

“If you feel well, you look well,” Simpson told the audience of beauty editors and their guests. “There’s no such thing as anti-aging, but there are things you can do…You do need solid nutrition, but the inconvenient truth is, you can’t always get that. Nutricosmetics supplement a healthy lifestyle and diet.”

Attendees also learned about the Caudalíe philosophy and witnessed one of the spa’s signature treatments.
