Axe Tweets Fans For Secret Concert

Axe’s “One Night Only” concert series took place Aug. 17 as rapper T.I. took the stage for an intimate, top-secret show at New York City hot spot Capitale.

Concert details were revealed to lucky fans in stages just before the actual event. T.I. teased the performance on his official fan site in the days leading up to the show—and the venue, date and time were released hours before the show via Axe’s social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.

The concert heralded the addition of Axe Music, the newest product line featuring a body spray, shower gel and shampoo.

Marking T.I.’s highly anticipated return to the stage, the show featured a number of guest appearances and included tracks from the rapper’s soon to be released album, “King Uncaged.”

Thirteen women who succeeded in battling cancer enjoyed red-carpet treatment at “Celebrating the Beauty of Life: Star Styling for Cancer Survivors.” Salon owner and celebrity stylist Adrian De Berardinis organized the event.

De Berardinis collaborated with John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack, NJ, and Gilda’s Club. Event sponsors included beauty brands such as CND, P&G Prestige, Elizabeth Grant, Completely Bare and PeaceKeeper Cause-Metics.

The women were treated to cuts and color by De Berardinis and his team, makeup applications, a photography session, jewelry styling by Jamie Wolf and manicures by CND nail professionals Kris Kiss and Claudine Morgan.
