Michelle Radecki, general counsel of the American Cleaning Institute (formerly The Soap and Detergent Association), has been named a vice president of the association, effectively immediately.
Radecki will continue to serve as ACI general counsel, a position she was appointed to in 2006.She joined ACI as associate counsel in 2002.She is also the corporate secretary to ACI’s Board of Directors, a position she was reelected to in January 2011.

Radecki’s duties include managing all of ACI’s legal affairs and providing legal guidance to the association on pertinent laws, regulations and court decisions.
She previously served as Legislative Counsel to former U.S. Rep. John J. LaFalce (D-NY) during his tenure as ranking member of the House Small Business Committee, providing advice on a wide range of legal issues.Prior to that, she was an attorney in the litigation department with the law firm Dempsey & Dempsey in Buffalo, New York.
