An 80-year-old Florida woman died Thursday after succumbing to fumes at a McDonald's restaurant in Pooler, GA, the Associated Press reports. Anne Felton and her husband were customers at the restaurant, from which 10 people were taken to a hospital Wednesday after firefighters found two customers unconscious and others short of breath.
The AP said that local police officials believe cleaning chemicals in the restroom were the culprit but the matter is still under investigation and an autopsy will be conducted to determine Felton's exact cause of death. The restaurant was evacuated but has since reopened.
