Ajinomoto USA, Inc. (Booth No. 330) is highlighting several products at Suppliers' Day. Ajidew NL-50 (Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylate=Na PCA) is a
natural humectant derived from L-Glutamic acid. Known to be
abundant in human skin as a component of NMF (Natural
Moisturizing Factor), this humectant helps keep skin and hair
fresh-looking.
Amisoft is a pioneer product of amino-acid-based weakly acidic surfactant.
Amisoft is an anionic surfactant produced from L-Glutamic acid(an amino acid) and plant-derived coconut fatty acid. Extremely hypoallergenic and well
suited as a mild cleansing agent. Their pHs are similar to that of the skin,
therefore, they are very mild to the skin after washing. Amisoft is available in
a variety of products including the compounds of potassium salts, sodium salts, non-neutralized form(acid type), and compounds varying acyl chain length. You can select the compound most suited to your end products, including bar soaps, facial cleansers, liquid cleanser, etc. Example of Amisoft is Amisoft CS-12 and Amisoft CT-12.
Amilite surfactants are amino- acid- based anionic surfactant available in two versions: the Glycine-type and Alanine-type. The Glycine-type is produced from Glycine and natural fatty acids, while the Alanine-type is produced from Alanine and natural fatty acids. Amilite's main characteristic is its high foaming ability. It produces creamy rich foam and it is notable for leaving fresh feel on the skin after rinsing. Major examples of Amilite surfactants are Amilite GCK-12K, Amilite ACS-12 and Amilite GCS-12K.
Amilhope LL is a functional fine powder derived from L-lysine and lauric acid. It is a very smooth powder with soft and silky touch (high lubricity/low frictional coefficient). It imparts hydrophobicity to hydrophilic powders and is insoluble in water and oils, except in strong alkaline and acid.
