World Luxury Association releases top 10 global brands.

The World's Top 100 Most Valuable Luxury Brands have been announced by the World Luxury Association (WLA), a research and management, non-profit organization focused on the international luxury market.

The list is based on a luxury brand's influence on a global scale, market share, consumer feedback and other composite scores, according to WLA.

WLA's top 10 cosmetics brands are:

Christian Dior

Helena Rubinstein

La Prairie

La Mer

In addition to the ranking in several categories (ranging from fashion to liquor to yachts), the WLA report shows that China has become the world's largest consumer of luxury goods.
