Mary Kay Honors Domestic Violence Survivors at Holiday Fetes

Nearly 60 survivors of domestic violence in Los Angeles and Washington, DC received unforgettable holiday surprises when Mary Kay showered the women with makeovers, gifts cards, beauty products, musical serenades, flowers and empowerment. The Mary Kay “You Are Beautiful” holiday celebrations served residents of domestic violence shelters Rainbow Services (Los Angeles) and My Sister’s Place and Ayuda (Washington, DC).

The events were hosted by Mary Kay independent national sales directors Lupita Ceballos in Los Angeles and Ada Garcia in Washington.

Each shelter received surprise grant donations from The Mary Kay Foundation. A total of $40,000 was awarded to participating shelters for programs providing counseling, shelter and protection for families of domestic violence.
