It's one of the mysteries of life. Why do girls love horses? But no matter the reason, Ralph Lauren is tapping into that love affair with the launch of his Big Pony fragrance collection.
The four fragrances are aimed at the 18- to 24-year-old consumer, and complement the existing Big Pony apparel collection. As for the scents themselves, Fragrance No. 1 is a sporty floral citrus, with blue lotus and grapefruit notes serving as the signature. No. 2 is a floriental fruity juice with a cranberry and tonka mousse signature. Fragrance No. 3 is intended to be free-spirited, with a signature of pear and mimosa. The final scent, No. 4, is an oriental floral which represents the stylish facet, built around cherry and purple amber notes.
After Big Pony takes an exclusive ride in Bloomingdale's this month, it will debut in other department stores in April.
