As Spring blooms in the US, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists gets busy with two well-attended events—the New York Chapter Suppliers’ Day followed by the SCC’s Annual Scientific Seminar, both of which are scheduled for this month.
Suppliers’ Day, sponsored by the New York Chapter of The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), will open its doors on May 15 at the New Jersey Convention and Expo Center in Edison, NJ. This two-day event offers an excellent opportunity to present new products as well as discuss the latest innovations with technical, marketing, and business associates from around the world, according to NYSCC.
The show floor will be open from 8:30am–4:30pm on Tuesday, May 15 and from 9am–4pm on Wednesday, May 16. A complimentary buffet lunch will be provided from 11am to 2pm on both days of the show. In addition, there will be several beverage stations and coffee bars available to all those exhibiting and attending.
At the end of the month, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists will hold its Annual Scientific Seminar. The event will run from May 31 to June 1 at the Charleston Marriott in Charleston, SC.
In addition to the main seminar, there are also three mini-breakfast seminars, a pair of continuing education programs and a student poster exhibit planned. Social events include a reception/social event on May 30 at the SC Aquarium and a cocktail reception on May 31.
