More than 120 people gathered for P&G’s Pantene Beautiful Length hair donation event.

More than 120 P&G employees, their families and friends and local community members gathered at the P&G Corporate Headquarters to donate their hair to benefit the program.

To cut hair, Pantene celebrity hair stylist Tippi Shorter was joined by 30 local stylists who volunteered their time.

Created in 2006, Pantene Beautiful Lengths inspires people to grow, cut and donate their healthy hair to create free, real-hair wigs for women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatments. To date, Pantene Beautiful Lengths has received more than 311,000 hair donations.

The event kicked-off the countdown to the first “National Donate Your Hair Day,” which was slated for April 27.
