Primex Wins Innovation Award

• Primex has been awarded The Icelandic Innovation Award for2012.The award, which is given by The Icelandic Centre for Research-Rannis, Promote Iceland, Innovation Center Iceland and The New Business Venture Fund, is presentedto a company that has surpassed all others in development of a product or a service that is based on science and researchandhas been successful in the marketplace. Special attentionis on young, innovative companies with business models based on creative technique and ideaswith greatdemand on science andknowledge.

Primex EHF is the manufacturer of chitosan, which is manufactured from shrimp shell. The shrimp are harvested out of the North Atlantic Ocean, near the Arctic Circle, making them a very pure and clean material.
