Stars Compete At Axe Sport Blast ‘Combine’

Supermodel Kate Upton and pro football player Jason Pierre-Paul were tapped to promote new Axe Sport Blast 2-in-1 Shower Gel + Shampoo.

• Unilever recently partnered with supermodel Kate Upton and pro football player Jason Pierre-Paul to promote the rollout of new Axe Sport Blast 2-in-1 Shower Gel + Shampoo. The duo hosted the Axe Sport Blast Combine House, a competitive party space in New York City that put a unique spin on the football combine which tests potential players’ fitness, agility and endurance though a series of high-intensity challenges.

For Upton and Pierre-Paul, the tasks were a bit less taxing; they squared off in some more relaxed challenges—a balance beam standoff and a hardnosed table tennis match—all of which tied back to the Axe Shower product range.

Following the Sport Blast Combine House, a monetary donation was made on behalf of Axe, Upton and Pierre-Paul to Fitness Without Borders (FWB), a non-profit organization that works to educate underprivileged and unhealthy children about the importance of regular exercise. FWB provides kids with positive role models who stress the importance of staying fit and contributing positively to their communities.
