Mega Airless Makes a ‘Whish’

June 13, 2012

Dispensers chosen for new serum.

The decision by Whish Body Products, the maker of skin and facial care products, to select Mega Airless dispensers for its new Prelude Pre-Wax & Shave serum underscores the potential for an all-new generation of prestige shave products in airless packs, according to the company. The Scottsdale-based brand’s latest launch is a thick, rich gel, with a formula designed to cleanse, tone, numb and reduce skin inflammation with a natural combination of clove leaf oil, menthol, witch hazel and organics.According to company executives, it is the very type of formula that only new-generation airless lotion pumps can handle.

“Mega Airless not only makes a quality product, but also gives us the ability to customize, for each item we produce,” said Jesse Werner, founder, Whish Body Products.“Their high standards, on-time delivery and flexibility to produce a unique product are what I look for in a supplier.”
Mega Airless’ neutral dispenser design, Werner added, is quick to prime Whish’s shaving gel.The product uses the Micro round 30ml lotion pump, with black actuator and cap, in a translucent container. The Micro family—along with the entire Mega Airless line-up—permits complete 360-degree application, exact dosing, highly efficient evacuation and formula stability over the life of the product, without drying, discoloration, drips, clumping or clogging.

According to Harry Blacklock, national sales and marketing director, Mega Airless, “Our work for Whish Products demonstrates the appeal of our dispensing technology in a variety of personal care product categories,” he said.“Multinationals, as well as entrepreneurial brand owners, are developing innovative, complex formulations that require complete neutrality and the utmost in airless formula protection.”
